For eight years, we operated on a purely voluntary basis, growing the project according to the resources available. Our main site was set up in the back garden of our Co-Founder's council house, setting an example to the local community of how limited resources can be pooled together creatively to help those who need it. This remains our main site today.
Due to high demand for our work, we formalised as a CIC in 2015 and started to fundraise more strategically. Our core team still work on a part paid, part voluntary basis as required.
We're now looking for passionate individuals and organisations who can help us grow. We're fundraising to employ 2 more part time staff to maintain our community garden, coordinate workshops and open days, and oversee the administration of the project.
