NCL Programme Manager
At the time of writing this Amen Noir is the relative newcomer to the team. Joining forces with MPG in 2022, Amen came into a redeveloping CIC with many aspects of the structure void of fully functioning processes and a strain on the overall team capacity. However, the team members already engaged demonstrated high-level skill sets that very easily made the transition into the role very easy and provided a great platform upon which he was able to 'observe & interact' with the aims and objectives of MPG.
The KEY focus was to support the development of (2) pivotal areas of MPG: Hip-Hop Garden (HHG) and Natural City Living (NCL).

The development of NCL has been the continual work of Obie Pearl and Amen and has been a strong foundation to continue building the other aspects of MPG. The full year programme is testimony to the broader vision and ability to create and build upon the 1st hand examples of natural build, growing techniques, land awareness and creative expression. You must attend an NCL event to fully understand the great concept fully realised by Ian and the team.
Background
As a self-acclaimed newbie to rediscovering his connection to nature, sustainability and environmental awareness, Amen began embedding himself into MPG but also identifying how to bridge the connection between the aims of the CIC, and the experience and skills that he has developed over the last 30+ years in education and training. In addition to this he also has a connection to creative expression and performance, which lends to the HHG strand and beyond.
Amen Noir by trade is an education consultant and practitioner specialising in social and emotional literacy. He is also a CPCAB trained counsellor and qualified Mentor with over 30+ years working with young people and young people services across primary, secondary, college and university education. He has vast experience engaging PRU's, Youth Offending services and prisons working with some of the most vulnerable and at need young people and adults.

Amen is responsible for writing over 50+ programmes of study from conflict resolution, to creative writing. He specialises in emotional literacy which underpins much of the work conducted. With extensive experience working with local authorities, Amen's ability to navigate the programme structure and pedagogy required to have high effective learning and sharing opportunities, is valuable for the direction and desire of MPG.
Amen's connection to MPG is one of bridging the relation of personal development, self awareness, and mental health to nature, environmentalism, self expression and programme development. This is no better reflected than through the underpinning ethos of People Care, Land Care, Fair Share and Creative Flair. His performance and presentation skills also add to the dynamic presence of the MPG team and Amen's position within this hugely dynamic collective of creatives is Key in representing a diverse and dynamic outfit.
